Hi, I’m Kelly!

Welcome! I am honored and grateful you are here. I have been a stay at home Mom for the last 7 years and prior to that I worked as a registered nurse in women’s health. I married my college sweetheart and love my family.  I have always loved celebrating people and enjoy planning all details and touches that go into a beautiful gathering. From baby/wedding showers, birthdays, graduations, weddings, corporate events, teaching charcuterie classes, holidays, and all in between, I would love to partner with you to make your special celebration memorable. Taking the stress out of what to buy, what to serve, and how to arrange it is what we are here for! We love to make your event catering seamless from the initial conversation, planning details, and setting all the delicious charcuterie at your event. Our hope is at by the end of your event, you will have been fully present with your friends, family, and co-workers without all the stress of set of the catering up! Now that’s a party!!

We were created to gather, so let's gather often and celebrate well!

Having a charcuterie board business for more than 2 years now is really a dream come true. Never did I think something I started in the driveway while my children were playing chalk would grow into a business that I get so much joy from! Its my creative outlet, a way to connect with others, and way to serve those around me. The opportunities my charcuterie business has given me are endless! From being featured on the front page of an OKC magazine, to a grazing table set up at the senate floor of the state capital, to a massive charcuterie board the width of a basketball court—I’m so grateful!

As my business has grown, my youngest sister, Abby, now works with me! This is one of the biggest blessings of Boards by Kelly. Abby brings so much fun, creativity, and joy to our charcuterie business. Getting to teach charcuterie classes or create grazing tables together while catching up on motherhood and life really is the best!

They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts. Acts 2:46

Meet Abby!

Hi! My name is Abby, I am Kelly’s youngest sister! I am a lover of all foods, music, and being creative. I feel as if charcuterie is a perfect hobby for me. It’s a way to be creative through food and make a vision come to life by all the charcuterie boards I create! I love working with Kelly at various events. At home, you will catch me eating dark chocolate peanut butter cups from Trader Joe’s or drinking a coffee trying to match the energy from my kids! I have become a cheese connoisseur now and my favorite cheese on a charcuterie board is definitely smoked gouda or even better-spicy gouda!

The board that started it all…

A charcuterie board arranged with assorted meats, cheeses, crackers, and fresh fruit.

In November of 2021, when my daughter turned 3 years old, she requested a “Princess Belle birthday”, from her favorite movie, Beauty and the Beast. With the French theme, I decided to make my first charcuterie board for our friends and family. The beauty of trying things for the first time for those closest to you is that if the charcuterie board was a complete train wreck, I knew they would still eat the charcuterie with smiles on their faces!

I stayed up way too many late evenings watching Youtube videos on how to style charcuterie boards. Specifically, how to fold meats, cut cheeses, and arrange them beautifully on a board. The charcuterie board was a huge success and everyone enjoyed grazing!

It then became a hobby and I created charcuterie boards for my church, friends, and family. Several years later, I felt a tug on my heart and took a leap of faith to start Boards By Kelly in February of 2023. I am trusting God’s leading for every open and closed door along the way. What a rewarding journey it has been!
